The Monday Menu is a weekly feature that I started at the end of 2011 where I have a recipe or something food related that I share with everyone. Food is such an important part of my life… I love cooking & baking and if I had the chance that is exactly what I would be doing as a career.
Here you will find a list of some of my favorite recipes.
Hope you enjoy them too!
Dinners
Macaroni & Cheese – This is one of my families favorite recipes and I can take no credit for it!
Food Network has to be my favorite channel and I watch it any chance I can get! Often I find myself looking up the recipes that I’ve seen and end up making them. This is the case with the macaroni & cheese from Rachael Ray.
Here’s the recipe. I’ve made this several times varying the types of cheese, with broccoli and without, adding different veggies, or leaving out the chicken. Every time my family loves it… even the day after!
Quinoa & Shrimp – Simple summer dinner.
Lime Grilled Chicken – This was a guest post and favorite of some of our Twitter friends.
Goulash – My kids love this and Paula Deen, the creator of this recipe!
Stuffed Cabbage Casserole – This is a classic made easy
Roasted Chicken with a Pinot Noir Sauce & Rosemary Roasted Fingerling Potatoes – This incredible recipe came from the amazing Gigi (Kludgy Mom)
Chicken & Noodles – One of my favorite comfort foods
Desserts
Chocolate Chip Cookies – No matter what you say this is the BEST recipe ever! Chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside!
Peach Cobbler – An easy way to use some of that summer fruit.
Jiffy Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies – Quick, easy, and delicious.
Edible Cookie Dough – Need I say more?
Pumpkin Pecan Pie Bars – These are so incredible good! You have to try them for yourself.
Layers of Love Brownies – A tasty guest post from another Michigan Mom, Angela from Tiaras & Trucks.
Pumpkin S’More Bars – A new fall favorite!
